1. Accuracy and priority of raffle rules
GT Comrades takes reasonable care to keep raffle information accurate and current. Promotional material is a summary. If promotional material conflicts with the official Raffle Terms & Conditions, the Terms & Conditions govern to the extent permitted by law.
2. Prize images and Crown Prize condition
Website and social-media images may include styled promotional layouts. The promotional artwork uses an image of the actual physical Crown Prize bat, and the Club will not knowingly alter the bat in a way that materially misrepresents its condition.
The Crown Prize is a custom-made, pre-owned and refurbished Premium Grade 1 English Willow cricket bat. SS TON LEGEND branding/stickers were applied as part of the refurbishment. The bat is not represented as having been manufactured by SS as an SS TON LEGEND model.
The Crown Prize is not new. It may have blemishes, cosmetic marks, wear and tear, surface imperfections, repaired/refurbished areas, minor cracks and other characteristics consistent with previous use and refurbishment. Further cracking, wear or damage may develop with future use.
3. Bat warranty and use
The Club gives no voluntary or express warranty or guarantee as to the refurbished bat’s future performance, durability, remaining playing life, fitness for a particular style or level of play, or freedom from future cracking or damage. Nothing in this disclaimer excludes or limits a right, statutory guarantee or liability that cannot lawfully be excluded or limited.
4. Prize values
Current estimated values are AUD $400 for the custom-made, refurbished Premium Grade 1 English Willow cricket bat with SS TON LEGEND branding, AUD $70 for the Club jacket and AUD $25 for the Club cap, total approximately AUD $495. Values are estimates only and do not guarantee resale value, replacement value or future value.
5. No guarantee of winning
Participation does not guarantee a prize. Each valid eligible entry has one chance of random selection under the draw rules. Holding additional valid entries increases the number of chances held by that participant but does not guarantee a winning outcome.
6. Third-party services
The raffle platform relies on independent technology and payment providers. The Club cannot guarantee uninterrupted availability of independent third-party systems, but will take reasonable steps to investigate participant issues and provide remedies where required by the raffle rules or applicable law.
7. External links and sponsor material
Links to sponsor or third-party websites are provided for convenience. The Club does not control those sites and is not responsible for their independent content, privacy practices, products or availability, except to the extent the Club has a legal responsibility that cannot be excluded.
8. Security and availability
The Club uses reasonable safeguards but does not guarantee that the website will always be uninterrupted, error-free or immune from cyber incidents. The Club may pause transactions or claims where reasonably necessary to protect participants, entry integrity or system security.
9. Legal rights
Nothing in this disclaimer excludes, restricts or modifies any liability, consumer right, statutory guarantee or other protection that cannot lawfully be excluded, restricted or modified.
